There is much to celebrate in last years achievement results.   In most grades and subjects Donnan has shown a marked increase in performance results over the previous year.  Further, Donnan exceeds the provincial average at the acceptable standard in most subjects and grades.  Our results are even more impressive when you consider that in a small school population, even one student can dramatically alter achievement results.   Way to go students and teachers!

We will also be focusing professional development activities on increasing student achievement at all levels and especially on students who are near the cusp of passing or achieving excellence.  To this end, we continue to put forth our energies on our Instructional Focus "Deepening Literacy". This exciting initiative concentrates efforts on the part of all staff to develop, implement and evaluate strategies designed to maximize student performance.  It will be an exciting year!
